As I've written in other content on this site, the work I do in the landscape—often in the interest of capturing some essential beauty of a particular place, either to be included in my limited editions or for the purpose of fulfilling a private commission—is a precursor, a catalyst, for discovering boundaries, barriers, and by extension, opportunities that I otherwise wouldn't encounter.
